Comfortable wherever the process is demanding: rate, traceability, acceptance, audit. Medtech (including Class III) is part of my background — one rigorous frame among others, not an exclusive scope.

UR robot cell — heat treatment

Problem
Before the cell, there was only a very high-temperature furnace: the operator loaded parts one by one, tied to the cycle and exposed to HSE risks.
Approach
UR cobot cell with an AI camera to detect free and occupied slots on the infeed and outfeed racks. Full architecture and software: sequencing, product traceability, maintenance.
Outcome
Autonomous cell — the operator can do other work while it runs. CE certification completed with an external body.

In-process inspection

Problem
Upgrade of an existing machine prone to drift: without an alert and a stop, a whole batch went to scrap. The need was to detect early, warn, and halt the process.
Approach
Measurements and vision next to the operation, interlocks, alarms, documented and verified software.
Outcome
Drift stopped before the full batch was lost. Notification to the operator or the maintenance team, including during on-call. Compliance evidence that stands up in audit.

Dissimilar-materials welding

Problem
Dissimilar-materials welding for medical use: the existing machine tended to drift, needed heavy maintenance, and some parts were no longer available.
Approach
As-is study, then URS, then full mechanical and electronics design, with build subcontracted. FAT/SAT aligned to the URS, operator training, qualification pack, deviation loop through to sign-off.
Outcome
Higher capacity and tighter quality control. Technical documentation to ease maintenance and spare-parts management.
